What is satellite land survey?

A satellite land survey is a coordinates system called world geodetic system WGS 84. it's a datum featuring coordinates that changes with time. it's defined by geospatial intelligence agency called NGA. It gives very less error about up to 1 cm in Geolocations. Using satellite if you marked the location following the coordinate there will be only 1 cm tolerance. Satellite survey performs using GPS instrument and following the coordinate system according to its region. Like each region is divided by a specific number. Following regions number, the instrument gets connected using telecom services online internet data. When it's connected and shows the good signals then a surveyor can mark the location by giving the coordinate values. One a surveyor input coordinate value it will give the direction and distance to the point we input. And when we got in exact X, and Y location then we got one location. For the next location again, we should input 2nd point and proceed the same as first point. Using this method, we can fix geo locations anywhere.

Topographic Satellite Survey

Topographic survey means to take as-builts of the land. If we do topographic land surveying for the road, we need to take road edge points center lines of the road and approximately 20 meters both side of the road cross section. Taking cross section of the road is good topographic data that we provide to our clients. Because anywhere we do topographic details there must be some type of changes client wants to do. With the help of these details' client will know the current situation about the whole land. All manholes' signboards for direction light pole barricades tree plants everything we should get record. And then we need to design it as same as it looks in real. Data should not miss like manholes signboards light poles etc. Since after the data submission the designer will be redesign it accordingly as per the new requirement. These changes can be to make the road wider or lint it with another road. It can also be making bridge over the road etc. Client will give all the information and requirements what they are going to make in that area or what changes the want to do it. Also, the client clearly give us info about what type of topographic details he wants. So, the surveyors will start collecting data accordingly.

If it is a hill area then the most important thing is to get accurate elevations and it, s shape in order to understand the Hight and area. Client need exact quantity Hight and the area in. square meter to get an idea to measure how to do their work. All these details can be done by using GPS with connection. of satellite and total station as well.

Satellite survey of land you can cross check or and layout it in Google Maps in. order to confirm whether it's in the right location or wrong. Before submitting the data to the client, a surveyor should cross check and verify it.

Using satellite survey, you can get recorded many things like an existing building's location of major points and interceptions. So, then we can put it in the original drawings to check or to change some designs. These data can be provided in coordinates system and latitude also. Anywhere both data values are convert able. You can convert one to another.

Using satellite survey, you are able to mark East, West and North South locations. Also, we can fix qibla direction anywhere by using. GPS.

Taking quantity using satellite

Using GPS we can get 3 dimensions data X, Y, Z by taking this data we are able get detailed quantity of like sand Gravels and any dump material. Simply Using GPS, we need to collect very bottom line then if there is slope continues going to the top take some points in middle as it shaped. And then insert these values into AutoCAD 3d with the help of AutoCAD we are able to draw existing shape of dump and then calculate the quantity by following procedure.
